About MeetSimpler

Contact: meetsimpler@gmail.com. MeetSimpler is Windows software for recording, transcription, AI assistance and meeting exports. These terms apply to the beta v0.1 app and account/access services. Terms version: 2026-10-12.

Accounts

Register using email and password or Google/GitHub authentication through Supabase. Keep credentials secure and use an email you control. Do not share access credentials or impersonate others. You must have legal capacity to accept these terms; this beta is not directed at children. Contact support about unauthorized access. The account flow requests no billing details.

Free beta and offline access

Beta v0.1 is free while the server makes the beta available. First activation requires internet access and an account. A server-issued permit allows use on the registered installation for up to seven days. After expiry, internet access is required; the server renews for another seven days when the account remains eligible and the beta is still free. Renewal is an access check, not a charge. Service outages or unavailable internet can prevent renewal. We may update or end the beta with reasonable notice where practicable. Previously issued permits remain usable until expiry. Maintain backups and exports before expiry; local files remain yours.

Future paid plans

Paid subscriptions may be introduced separately with advance disclosure of price, billing period, cancellation rights, taxes, refund rules and device limits. Free beta registration does not authorize charges or automatic enrolment in a paid plan. A possible future two-device limit is not currently promised or imposed unless clearly announced and accepted. Separate AI providers may charge for your configured API usage.

Recording and acceptable use

You are responsible for the right to record and process meeting content, obtaining required notices and consents, workplace permissions and compliance with the laws applicable to all participants. Do not use the service for unlawful surveillance, infringement, abuse, malware, fraud, or bypassing account or subscription checks. Do not upload secrets or personal data without authority.

Your content and AI

You retain ownership of your content. You authorize only the processing necessary to perform your requested features and operate account services. Meeting content is stored in your selected folder. When you choose cloud AI features, selected content is sent to your configured provider under its terms. AI transcripts and summaries can be inaccurate or incomplete; review them before sharing or relying on them. MeetSimpler does not provide professional advice.

Software and third parties

The accompanying software license governs use of the executable. Open-source components and downloaded models retain their own licenses, which may restrict particular uses. Supabase, GitHub, Google and configured AI providers operate under their applicable terms and policies.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend access for security, abuse, invalid entitlements or legal requirements. Contact support to request review, close your account, or withdraw consent. Expired or suspended access may persist offline until an existing permit expires. Uninstalling does not delete your Supabase account or meeting folder. Account deletion requests require proportionate identity verification.

Free beta disclaimer

MeetSimpler's free beta is experimental and is not a stable production release. It may contain many bugs, including known and undiscovered defects, and may crash, interrupt meetings, lose or corrupt data, produce inaccurate or incomplete results, or become unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you use the free beta at your own risk. Keep independent backups of important files, review transcripts and AI outputs, and do not rely on the beta as your only record of an important meeting.

Liability and consumer rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the software is provided as available without promises of uninterrupted service, fitness, or accuracy; liability for indirect losses is excluded. Nothing excludes fraud, intentional misconduct, non-excludable personal injury liability, statutory consumer protections, or any remedy that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and disputes

Material changes will be notified through the website, app or account email where appropriate. New paid terms require separate acceptance. Contact meetsimpler@gmail.com first to resolve disputes. Applicable law governs these terms, and mandatory consumer rights continue to apply. Nothing in these terms limits your right to bring a claim before a court with competent jurisdiction.
