Recording and AI Use Notice

Before recording

Obtain all recording permissions and participant notices required where each participant is located. Follow employer, confidentiality and platform rules. A meeting organizer's approval alone may not be enough. MeetSimpler does not automatically notify every participant or obtain consent for you.

Suggested participant notice

"With your permission, I would like to record this meeting and use MeetSimpler to transcribe it and draft notes. Meeting files will be stored on my computer. If I choose cloud AI features, selected content may be sent to our chosen AI provider. Please tell me if you do not agree so we can use a suitable alternative." Adapt this notice to your actual processing and retention.

Review and protect

Transcripts and AI outputs may contain errors or sensitive information. Verify decisions, names and action items, limit access, and remove data when no longer needed. Do not treat AI-generated text as legal, medical or financial advice. This notice does not replace jurisdiction-specific recording advice.
